On this page, you will learn how to make very easy DIY heart-shaped earrings with paper straws just in few minutes. You will need a minimal amount of material for this project. So shall we start?

What You Need

STEP-1

Take a pink color felt sheet or any color you like. Draw a heart with a pencil and cut it with the help of scissors.

I took a length of 5.5 cm for my heart drawing, you can choose any size which you feel to wear as an earring.

STEP-2

Make a hole at the top with the help of a punching machine. If you don’t have it, you can use a sharpen needle or a pin to make a hole. But be careful about the hole’s size and neatness.

STEP-3

Now fetch a ruler, and measure the length of the middle part of this heart. Be sure to measure from the bottom of its hole like the above image. In my case, it was 4.5 cm.

Soon afterward, put the same measurement mark on one paper straw, and cut the straw with the help of paper cutter knife carefully. You can watch this video for the same.

I took reddish-purple paper straws to give an alluring and romantic look to my earrings.

You can choose any color straws or even you can color some plain white straws to show your creativity at the right place.

STEP-4

Continue the process, and apply some fabric glue on the heart at the center. Paste that cut-out piece of straw on it.

STEP-5

Repeat the pattern, and cut the other straw pieces according to heart’s length and, paste them on it thoroughly.

Don’t press them as they can change their shape.

STEP-6

Complete the pasting task like the above image. Do the same with the second earring of this pair as well. Let them dry.

STEP-7

To give an all-done look at the end, just insert the earring hooks firmly.
