tri-color paper flower

- What do you need
- A4 Colored Paper Sheets (Saffron, White, Green)
- Fevicol
- Scissors

Tri-color flower always attracts me and I love to make different patterns. So in this tri-color garden, I have added one more gem and you are not allowed to miss it :).
STEP-1
Firstly, take the saffron, white, and green colored sheets and cut them into two equal pieces (landscape mode). After cutting, grab the saffron sheet first and roll it firmly like the above image.
Once you about to finish the rolling, just add the white paper sheet and again roll it. Do not paste it. After rolling the white one, leave a bit part of it unrolled, and add the green paper sheet.

Roll it completely this time and paste it with fevicol. Keep it for a few minutes for drying and find one scissors.

STEP-2
With the help of the scissors cut thin standing stripes as given in the above image. Remember, cut them firmly and equally, otherwise you can lose your pattern.

STEP-3
When you are done with stripes, just pull and twist the orange flower upside as given in above image. Do it with patience as stripes may tear if you pull them forcefully.
When you pull the orange part, twist it too, so that it gives a beautiful and perfect look. After pulling the orange part, pull white flower a bit too and then the green one. Do not pull too much otherwise, it will be spoiled.

Now, your tri-color flower is bloomed. You can either make so many and bunch them. For more fun craft ideas give a shot to my this post.

tri-color paper crown

- What do you need
- White A4 sheets
- Ribbon (around 75cm)
- One straw
- Poster Colors
- Paint-brush
- One bottle cap
- Scissors
- Fevicol

Aham… now this one is my kid’s favorite, as this craft has cutting, pasting, and coloring too. And I know, kids love colors. So…when your little one will make this, he will get all the exposure and you will get all the messy floor ;).
STEP-1
Just grab one white sheet and roll it with a straw as above image. Need to remember that apply the fevicol after every two-three turns, otherwise in the upcoming step it may open and get scrappy. (you can check my Youtube Video).
After making a paper straw, just remove the straw tool which you took for rolling the paper.

STEP-2
Make six such straws with six white papers. Trim their corners from both sides and cut the straw into three equal pieces like the above image. Now you will get a total of 18 small straws.
STEP-3
For making this amazing tri-color crown, take a white paper of 18×8 c.m. Paste the ribbon at the one lower side( not in the center) of this paper and turn it.
Now draw some lined with fevicol and start pasting the straws one by one. Apply the fevicol till the end of the paper and paste all the straws firmly.

STEP-4
Here’s the interesting part… coloring. Keep an old newspaper on the crown, so that the other part of the crown will not be spoiled. I usually take this step with my kid’s coloring activity to save his creation. ha ha…;)
Now paint the upper part with the saffron color and leave it for a while to dry it. Next, paint the lower part with the green poster color and again let it dry.
For making Ashoka Chakra, just take a bottle cap and apply some blue color and print it on the white portion.

The result?…Amazing, isn’t it. Wear it and feel the joy of this honor. To make it more attractive, you can sprinkle some glitter as well. Do check my cement fridge magnets DIY ideas, if you love some funky craft.

tri-color paper flower badge

- What do you need
- A4 size colored sheets (saffron, white, orange )
- Sticky tape
- Fevicol
- Scissors
- Scale
- safety pin
- One foam sheet (or any thick sheet)

I am sure, you’re with me at this point, that flowers always fetch everyone’s attention. So again one more flower craft but with a different exercise.
STEP-1
For achieving this goal, cut three different A4 sheets in three different sizes. Like… saffron sheet size is 28×10 c.m. The white sheet size is 28×8 c.m. and the green sheet is to be 28×6 c.m.
After cutting the sheets, take one piece and fold it in landscape mode. Fold it and give a few cuts to the folded side like the above image. Similarly, do this to two other remaining pieces.
Now, open it carefully and turn it back. Apply some glue on one side of the paper.

STEP-2
Now this is important… After applying glue paste another side of the paper to the glued one, but remember, while you paste the paper, do not press the folded part as it gives a look of a loop and if you press it, they would become flat and design would not look pretty at all.
Do the same with the other two stripes as well. Now, take the green strip first and start rolling it firmly. When it rolled, add the white one and paste it at the end of the green one.

STEP-3
Similarly, add saffron one at the end of the white strip and start rolling it. Then paste it completely. You won’t believe what you discovered. A tri-color beautiful flower with looped petals.
STEP-4
For badge, you need to cut a circle piece from a foam sheet or whatever the hard and thick sheet you have.
Paste a safety pin with sticky tape on the circle and turn it.

STEP-5
Apply some glue on the other side of the circle and paste the flower on it. keep it for a while on a flat place and let it dry as it takes time to stick.
